1.Every baby has their own needs.yes this baby formula is thick,but some babies need a little help and some a lot. I have twins and I mix one regular can enfamil premium with an equal amount of AR.It more weight,butit not totally thick.I use a large measuring cup and hand-held mixer for the AR part.I also drop some gas drops in there to work out any foam.Here is tip -go to bed bath and beyond,or another place like that and get a latte frother.the end fits perfectly in a bottle and mixes AR perfectly.If you find straight up AR is constipating your baby or is too thick,just break it down a little bit with regular Enfamil.It works perfectly for me because wqual amounts of each makes a day'sworth for my twins...Customer said!
2.I never write reviews however, after trying 4 different baby formulas we found a winner. Our little one has acid reflux and the doctor recommended this. It was so bad that she cried for hours. I noticed a difference with 24 hours. We use Dr. Brown bottles and we had to buy stage 2 nipples because the infant formula is thick. Yes, it can make your baby constipated however, I called the doctor and he said that it is ok to give 1 oz of prune juice and 1 oz of water daily to keep her regular. We also use gas drops at every other feeding to help with the gas. FYI Target has there own brand that works great to for a reduced cost $15.99 :)..Customer said!
3.I have to mix this infant formula with the regular Enfamil Infant
and make my own custom blend. If you use this formula on its own your baby will
get majorly constipated. My poor baby screamed for a full day trying to poop.
After I started mixing the 2 formulas, we nolonger have that issue and spit up
is greatly reduced. Its so much better than adding rice cereal to thicken
formula b/c this has no clumps and doesn't clog the nipples. I mix up a pitcher
of this formula b/c its hard to mix and foams up at first..Customer said!
