1.Alimentum has been a miracle for us, as my daughter was having severe
reactions to several otherbaby formulas. Giving 4 stars because it's
expensive and because it smells funny (although the baby doesn't seem to
mind). And neither of those things really matter when your child is
not fussy after eating, does not have stomach problems, and is all
around happier because of what they are eating. If your child has a
protein sensitivity, buy this ASAP.......Customer said!
2. At 8 weeks old my daughter was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy
after I found small amounts of blood in her stool. She had always been
fussy and had horrible gas pains, but since it was our first child we
thought that was normal. Finally, after finding the blood, my
daughter's doctor recommended stopping breast feeding and trying a
hypoallergenic baby formula. The doc first put us on Enfamil Nutramigen. It
did stop the bleeding in my daughter's stool, but she broke out in a
horrible diaper rash. Her docs kept telling me to air out her butt, not
use diaper wipes, and even blow dry her butt before putting her diaper
on. She was also producing about 8 stools a day and was clearly
irritated. I kept calling her doc telling them what I was seeing, but
they didn't seem concerned. Finally after almost 3 weeks of nasty
diaper rash, I trusted my gut and had her docs change her infant formula. They
put her on Alimentum this time. Her diaper rash went away in 1 day,
she started only producing 1-2 stools a day, and was far more happy! I
was so thankful for Alimentum!! It truly made my little girl happy!! I
know every baby is different, but make sure to trust your gut and if
another baby formula is not working for your child, try this one!.....Customer said!
